Zipoli Automata

Zipoli Automata, a new work for organ recaptures musical fragments of the Spanish Colonial America composer Domenico Zipoli 1688-1726 and regrows the tunes and polyphony applying various cellular automata patterns, Pascal’s Triangle predominately.

Pluto In The Underworld

A Monteverdian Hip-hop: Venus having traveled to the gates of hell, implores Pluto to release those who have, during their lives, forsaken love so that she may rebuke them further.  Each time she asks, Pluto refuses, and rather, puts the moves on her.  Contains original text by Ottavio Rinuccini 1562-1621, culminating in parts transformed into ‘urban-hip-hop’ (translated on the streets of Harlem, NYC.)

Ballet L'Inconstante

Ballet Inconstante is a five-minute ballet for two baroque dancers, reveals the woman’s shifting moods and dispositions as her male companion advances in varying manners.

Concerto for Forte-piano, Fragments, and Fractals

A single movement work built from sketches of an unfinished sinfonia concertante by Haydn, additional music (in the development section) is spawn out of fragments of Haydn’s own cadenzas for his keyboard concertos and well as the additional wind parts created later by Hummel.
